Refund Policy

Digital products
All WordBits and other Teaching Bit resources are digital downloads, delivered immediately on successful payment. Because of this, our approach to refunds works differently from physical goods.
Cooling-off period
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you would normally have a 14-day cooling-off period on distance purchases. By completing your purchase and accessing your download, you expressly agree to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you give up this 14-day cancellation right. If you'd prefer not to waive it, please contact us before downloading.
Faulty, not-as-described, or not-fit-for-purpose resources
This waiver doesn't affect your separate statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If a resource is faulty (for example, a corrupted or unopenable file), doesn't match its listing description, or doesn't do what it was advertised to do, you're entitled to a fix.
Contact us at hello@theteachingbit.com describing the issue, and we'll put it right, usually by sending a corrected file. If we can't resolve it within a reasonable time, you're entitled to a full refund.
What isn't covered
We don't offer refunds for change of mind, for resources you decide don't suit your class or teaching style after reviewing the content, or if you find something similar elsewhere. Free samples exist precisely so you can check a resource is right for you before buying the full version.
How refunds are paid
Where a refund is due, it's paid within 14 days using the same payment method you used to buy, at no cost to you.
